is an outdoorsy cafe and attracts many cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, climbers, day-trippers, tourists and families who visit the Peak District. Cafe Adventure is located on Edale Road, in the village of Hope, in the heart of the Peaks. It is in prime position for a rest and refuel stop for outdoor enthusiasts and has become somewhat of a “Mecca” for cyclists. The cafe has an eat-in and take-away menu, catering for breakfast, hot and cold lunches, hot and cold drinks and a selection of homemade cakes, scones and tray bakes. Cafe Adventure has a passion for making good home cooked food using seasonally and locally sourced produce.
The cafe also holds regular Bistro Nights which include a three course meal from £22.50 pp. (BYOB). These are very popular and places have to be booked in advance – please see their website for more information.Billy and Rachel, who run Cafe Adventure have a passion for the great outdoors and particularly mountain biking. They organise regular social mountain bike rides from the cafe, including a women’s only ride which is very popular. These social rides are a great way to meet other outdoorsy folk and explore the local hills by bike in a relaxed and encouraging environment. More information on the cafe rides can be found on the website.
